The Queensland Government is investing in a positive future for young children and their families by supporting parents in their parenting role and helping communities to be both child and family friendly.

Our approach is based on evidence that experiences in the early years of life shape a child’s wellbeing and future life chances.


Early Years Strategy discussion papers
To elicit the views of parents, service providers, peak and professional organisations, researchers and other interested individuals and organisations on the kinds of services and systems needed to enhance services and support for all Queensland families.

Early Years Centres
The Early Years Centres will be ‘one-stop-shops’ where early childhood education and care, family support and health services are available for families expecting a child or with children aged up to eight years.
