Domestic and family violence prevention awards

The 2008 Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Award winners were announced at a ceremony in Brisbane on Wednesday 28 May 2008. These awards recognise and reward innovation and best practice by dedicated individuals, groups, government and non-government organisations who work towards the prevention of domestic and family violence in Queensland.

Following is a summary of the individuals and projects that received an award in 2008.
