Wednesday 21 May 2025 18.00 pm

Archdiocesan Ministries, Juliana Mantilla (Challenge DV), Diana Lopes (Honorary Consul of Portugal for QLD) and Brian Sullivan (Sicura)

In support of Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month, and as an expression of solidarity for victims of domestic and family violence (DFV), the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane will be holding a Prayer Vigil for Domestic and Family Violence to be held on 21 May from 6pm to 7.30pm in the Cathedral of St Stephen, presided by Archbishop Mark Coleridge. This prayer service is a collaboration with Diana Lopes (Honorary Consul of Portugal for QLD), Juliana Mantilla (Challenge DV), and Brian Sullivan (Sicura). Join us in prayer and reflection for all impacted by DFV—victims, families, communities, those who have caused harm, and everyone working across the system. Together, we can honour stories, raise awareness, and hold space for healing and hope.
