Ms Vanessa Fowler OAM (Co-Chair)
Vanessa Fowler is Chair of the Allison Baden-Clay Foundation and a long-time advocate for the prevention of domestic and family violence (DFV).
Following the loss of her sister Allison Baden-Clay in 2012, Vanessa and her family turned their grief into a commitment to raise awareness, educate and encourage community action.
A teacher by profession, she is dedicated to helping people recognise the signs of abuse, challenge harmful behaviours, and understand that preventing violence is a shared responsibility.
Awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for her advocacy, Vanessa continues to encourage open conversations about DFV and promote safe communities across Queensland.
