Professional foster care pilot

A new professional foster care model is being piloted to provide specialised home-based care for children with disabilities and complex needs.

Funding to support extracurricular activities for children in care

Over the next three years, the Queensland Government is increasing the yearly allowance for each child and young person living in a care arrangement by $1500, to fund extracurricular activities.
