Strategic Plan
Our Strategic plan 2026–2030 (PDF, 759 KB) (DOCX, 335 KB) (the Plan) sets out our objectives for the next 4 years, including how we will measure performance, and key risks and opportunities we will manage.
We deliver social services that support Queenslanders to live safe, connected and fulfilling lives.
We will achieve this through our objectives to:
- be accountable for our actions and transparent in our decision making
- place people at the centre of services and at the heart of our delivery
- build on a capable, values-driven workforce focused on continuous improvement
- implement government policy to deliver continuous improvement and lasting reform
- an enterprise approach to enable high-quality and sustainable services.
Through these objectives, we will work towards our vision to be a trusted social services leader, empowering people, communities and strengthen families.
The Plan also shows how we contribute to the government’s objectives for the community:
- Safety where you live
We work with partners:- to keep children safe
- to prevent and respond to domestic, family and sexual violence
- by funding services that reduce social isolation and improve inclusion.
- A better lifestyle through a stronger economy
We champion place-based and community-led approaches that:- enhance social and economic outcomes
- strengthen communities to lead coordinated, whole-of-government efforts that improve health, wellbeing and participation.
