An age-friendly community is one that embraces older people, supports them to live healthy and productive lives and recognises the value they play in our families, neighbourhoods and wider communities.

The benefits extend to all ages because age-friendly communities are more liveable, accessible and inclusive leading to a better quality of life for everyone.
