Human and Social Recovery and Resilience Plan

Overview

The Human and Social Recovery and Resilience Plan 2025–28 (the Plan) sets the strategic direction for how the Queensland Government supports individuals, families and communities to recover following disasters and strategies to build resilience in our communities.

Purpose

The Plan provides a clear framework to:

  • support the emotional, social, physical and psychological wellbeing of Queenslanders after disasters
  • strengthen Queensland’s overall disaster recovery capability.

Together with our partners, Queensland is strengthening its human and social recovery system, so communities are better supported before, during and after disasters.
