Matt Vels believes every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive. As Regional Coordinator for Top Blokes Foundation, he partners with schools, government agencies and community organisations to deliver evidence-based programs that empower boys and young men to build resilience, healthy relationships and respectful leadership. With more than a decade of experience in child protection, Matthew has worked extensively with children and young people impacted by complex trauma, abuse and adversity. His passion lies in creating opportunities that help young people overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Matthew also serves as Co-Chair of the Youth and Education Pillar for Toowoomba Together, working alongside community leaders to strengthen collaboration and improve outcomes for people who are impacted by DFV in the Toowoomba region.
