Our department has reviewed Queensland’s positive behaviour support and restrictive practices authorisation framework to better align with national disability safeguarding requirements and support the rights, safety and wellbeing of people with disability. This update outlines reforms to the restrictive practices authorisation framework and reflects current Queensland Government messaging.
