Do you work with people experiencing, or at risk of, domestic and family violence (DFV)? Look no further than the Brisbane Domestic and Family Violence Forum 2025! This event is a 1-day forum that aims to increase people’s knowledge of, and relationships with, the DFV services and programs available across the Brisbane region. It's great for workers new to the sector wanting to map the landscape, those working in allied community services who may need to support victim-survivors of violence, or experienced workers looking for a networking and learning opportunity. The agenda will incorporate short service presentations, keynote speakers, and a series of specialist workshop sessions to explore key topics in DFV, including perpetrator intervention, violence prevention and recovery for young people, centering lived experience, and the gendered drivers for First Nations communities. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to learn, network and make a difference! This event is hosted by Women's Health and Equality Queensland, with generous support from our major sponsors: Brisbane City Council and Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (Micah Projects). Our other supporters include Queensland Health, QCOSS, Children by Choice, and Women's Legal Service Queensland.
